Back off the beaten path!

Though it's been a long time since my last post, I have not been totally immobile these past four months. In fact, I have been treading straight up through this past weekend, taking a delightful stroll through Central Park amidst a refreshing on-again off-again rainstorm where earthy scents and uprooted trees lead us in a oddly nostalgic zig-zag to the Conservatory Gardens.

A slice of the conservatory gardens.

Post-rain phantasms at Tavern on the Green. Can you see them, haunting the Crystal Room?

But more on this within the next day or two. In the meantime, I invite you to check out a project I did based on NYC treading--basically a more in depth extension of this blog. It melds together all of the sensations that accompany a NYC excursion to some of the best garden destinations, covering St. John the Divine's Biblical Garden, the Brooklyn Bridge and Promenade, and--the one that always stays closest to my heart--a LES community garden.

Unfortunately, it takes a long tome to load--my technological skills leave much to be desired.

Enjoy!

Nice to see you back blogging again, Marisa. I don't feel nostalgic for NY, except when I read this.
